Silence Switch
There will be no alarm sounds if the silence switch is activated.
The silence switch is either the hardware switch on the right side of the iPad or a software button in the multitasking menu. This can be selected in the “General” section of the Settings App.
If “Mute” is selected, the switch next to the volume buttons on the right of the iPad is used as the silence switch.
If the side switch is set to “Lock Rotation” the silence switch is in the multitasking menu. Open the menu by double clicking the home button and perform a right swipe on it.
The silence switch is on the left hand side.
